Nike Cleat Heel

This project explores upcycling as both a sustainable practice and a creative challenge. Using an existing Nike cleat as the foundation, transforming a high-performance athletic shoe into a refined women’s heel, extending the lifespan of the material while redefining its purpose. Rather than disguising the shoe’s origins, key elements and branding are preserved to honor its original identity. The final design bridges function and fashion, highlighting sustainability, craftsmanship, and the power of recontextualization.
